Education and Experience

My professional path started as an elementary and middle school teacher in New Orleans, LA where I developed a great love for working with students and families. This led me to earn my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Now, as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (WA #LH61125099), I have worked for a relief and development nonprofit in South Korea, providing support and training for staff around the world, exploring identity, issues of faith, and the impact of working in difficult and traumatic environments. More locally, I have worked across the developmental spectrum in community mental health agencies and now in private practice.

I am a member of the Shelterwood Collective.

Who I Am

I identify as white, cis-female and use the pronouns she/her. I find great joy with my partner and children, listening to podcasts, being on the water, and eating pizza.
